All eight compositions were written by pianist Stan Tracey who was backed by Bobby Wellins on tenor saxophone, Jeff Clyne on bass and Jackie Dougan on drums.


Stan’s award-winning son Clark has put together an all-star line-up to reproduce what was a truly groundbreaking piece of work. Dylan Thomas’ poetry will be included in a show IJBC is incredibly proud to be bringing to Suffolk.


Clark Tracey and his band will also be performing another of his father Stan Tracey's jazz masterpieces. It’s based on the Dylan Thomas festive classic - “A Child’s Christmas In Wales.” Very much in the mould of Stan's landmark recording of "Under Milk Wood", this was another popular story in the Tracey household at that time…
